Astrology

Once I was dreamily thinking. I poned the hypothesis that cosmic radiation could influence our brainwaves somehow. I figured that the position of the planets and the stars then would have considerable impact on our behaviour and feelings. I didn't go so far as to say they would control our destiny, simply that they had an impact on us.
The hypothesis that cosmic radiation influences our brains didn't seem all that strange to me at that time. I'm quite sure it is a scientific fact that cosmic radiation changes constantly. Even more, simply by thinking of light (which is just one form of radiation and when coming out of space as in most cases, you could call it cosmic radiaton), I can think of a scientifically correct explanation about how the recurring cycles of planets, stars and the earth's rotation provide us with (more or less) the same recurring cosmic radiation.

So I was thinking, maybe people should study this. And then it came to me that people already had. It was called Astrology...

Since then I became to think of Astrology as the study of the effects of cosmic radiation coming down on our heads, even flowing through us. I gave it a reasonably high probability that it influences us in more than one way. If you don't believe this, simply think of light again. You can hardly deny at least one star (the sun) and it's relative position with earth has a major impact on us, both in our behaviour and our feelings.
